What we find today (pictured) is a rehabilitation, and replaces the one that gave its name to the district of the country, cross that was aesthetically different both in form and in the measurements.
studies done on the photos of late nineteenth century reveal that the old cross was high as about three floors of a house, and certainly was not of stony material, such as modern, but certainly of wood, a material very used and inexpensive in those days.
