Project educational workshop on the application of natural dyes in the fabric
The objective of the project is to implement and deploy in time a practical path-operating on issues and content about the art of medicinal plants and vegetable origin (wood, resins, lacquers), for purposes / uses of food, therapeutic, handcrafted and dyeing.
The project aims to promote both the development of knowledge / culture preservation of traditions and the analysis and exploitation of natural products typical of the territory Ampezzo Dolomites.
This content is part of the project "ScienzAmpezzo" Rules of Cortina at startup.
Laboratory activities will be activated with the advice of experts in the field of dyeing and the use of wild plants in the flora of the Dolomites of Ampezzo.
1 meeting: May 25, 2010 - theoretical introduction, approval and collection of plants.
2nd meeting: 21 to 23 September 2010 - activities dyeing plant fibers with vegetable dyes.
3rd meeting: date to be determined - the use of medicinal plants and their properties.
