The regular bus service in the municipality of Madrid is run by the Municipal Transport (Empresa Municipal de Transportes, EMT). It has over 150 regular lines that connect all the streets of Madrid, a Madrid-Barajas airport direct line, more than 20 night lines (so-called "búhos" or "owls") and 8 service lines that carry around some university campuses.
